 On Tuesday 24 January I gave a virtual talk to students about human spaceflight and the fact that today’s schoolchildren are the future astronauts who’ll walk on Mars.

Co-ordinates for a mission to Mars have been locked into your navigation computer. But there are a few things you need to know before getting there.
